Manchester: Clash Of The Titans

30th April 2012.

Remember that noisy neighbour who drives the German made car? The Audi, BMW, Benz or VW? The one who despite being richer than you is not better than you?

Yes. That one. Then one day when you're all chilled out in your awesomeness with your chic, they drive over, in their new car, comes to your place and wants to take your chic out. At first your refuse. But this fella is sleek, nasty and convincing. And so your dame wants to go with him.

This is what is exactly happening in Manchester. United have been the cool crowd for years, well until about 2 or 3 years ago when City got bank rolled heavily. City want the glory, the want to become the cool kids, they need that recognition.

This season they have been on the forefront of wanting that trophy. Almost 6 months at the top of the table, they relinquished their position only recently, 5 or 6 weeks ago. There have been wins for both teams, draws...losses are rare. The hustle, the tussle and finally what separates them is three points.

The stakes are high. The Premier League trophy is this close to be won by either. After the derby there will be only two games remaining to the close of the season.

With City being revitalized by the return of the stocky Argentinian Tevez, the curse of the ex is clearly set to haunt United.
Rooney's on fire, Aguero is also on fire. Hart is almost unplayable, De Gea has shown massive massive improvement. Scholes is back, Silva looks to pull the strings from the City midfield.

This one will be a cracker. Goal difference may actually decide this year's premier league trophy.

Mark your calenders football maniacs. Because it'll be a while before another Monday rocks you like 30th April 2012.
